Denis Savary (b. 1981 Granges-Marnand, Switzerland) lives and works in Geneva, Switzerland. Savary works across forms and media in his creation of dreamlike objects, images and installations. Often rein-terpreting motifs and relics from throughout history, he twists them formally and psychologically through shifts in scale and material, craft and content, towards a contorted total and piecemeal reimagi-nation of culture. His recent solo and duo shows have been shown at Mayday, Basel; Synagogue de Delme with Josy's Club and MAMCO, Geneva. He holds a BFA in Visual Arts from the Ècole Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne ECAL (2004).
