Matusz uses old bunker lamps, having lost their purpose and usage, they become mere design, yet their aesthetic presence forces the viewer to reference an idea of the past but also of an underground life.
The texts transferred onto the Bunker lamps are direct quotes from Felix Guattari's book "Chaosmosis: an Ethico-aesthetic Paradigm" and from Franco Bifo Berardi's "And, Phenomenology of the End". Dealing primarily with questions of subjectivity, and the contemporary changes taking place in our aesthetic and emotional sensibility, both of these philosophers analyze the deep mutations that have operated in our psychospheres within our ever changing societies.
