Born 1981, Granges-Marnand, Switzerland. Lives and works in Geneva, Switzerland.
Denis Savary works across forms and media in his creation of dreamlike objects, images and installations. Often reinterpreting motifs and relics from throughout history, he twists them formally and psychologically through shifts in scale and material, craft and content, towards a contorted total and piecemeal reimagination of culture.
His recent solo and duo shows include Nashville at KBCB Kunsthaus Biel Centre d'art Bienne, Switzerland (2025); Quiet Clubbing at Centre d'édition contemporaine, Geneva, Switzerland (2024); Octogone with Chloé Delarue at Mayday, Basel (2023), Pierre-Olivier Arnaud and Denis Savary at Josy's Club, Synagogue de Delme, Delme, France4 (2023); and The Puppet Show at Centre d’Art Contemporain de Geneva, Switzerland (2022).
